School Arrival and Departure Times

A reminder to all parents of the school start and finishing times. Please see below:

Students should not be arriving at school prior to 8.00am each morning and should be collected from school at 2.50pm. Children who are not collected by 3.00pm are directed to the school office for supervision and parental contact. It is very important that students arrive on time to learn at the beginning of the day. Your assistance in adhering to these times is appreciated.

Eumundi State School Anzac Day Service

On Wednesday 24 April we will be having our school ANZAC Day service in the KOLA from 9:30 to 10:15am approximately - parents/caregivers are also welcome to attend. Other details are as follows:

• During the service, 2 representatives from each class will come forward and lay a bouquet at a memorial to remember the men, women and children who have died during wars. All students are therefore asked to bring in some flowers and/or greenery on Wednesday 24 April, before school, so that class bouquets can be made by 9:00am.

It would also be appreciated if some parents could assist in making the bouquets (please see your child’s teacher if you are able to help).

• All children are to be in full school uniform (Year 6 shirts are not to be worn).
• If you do not wish your child to participate in this service, please advise your teacher in writing no later than Friday 19 April.

Eumundi Community Anzac Day Service - Thursday 25 April

Eumundi State School students and parents have been invited to participate at the Eumundi Community Anzac Day Service. Specific details are as follows:

When:  Thursday 25 April 2024.

Time:  We request that everyone arrives by 7:30am.

Where:  Meet at the ‘Welcome to Eumundi Markets’ sign - near the Rural Fire Brigade.

The children will then march through the terraces to the Amphitheatre area.

Dress:  Students interested in participating are required to wear full school uniform, including a broad brimmed hat. Children are welcome to wear family medals.

It would be great to see as many Eumundi families and their children involved to show our respect and support for the Anzacs.
