Prep - Year 3 - Water Safety Awareness Program - Term 4 Week 8

Each year the Prep, Year 1, 2 and 3 students attend the Eumundi Aquatic Centre in Term 4 for swimming/water safety lessons. This year's program will be conducted over the course of one week only - Week 8 - 24th November - 28th November. The Prep classes will have 3 lessons in total, while Years 1, 2 and 3 will have 5 lessons - one each day. The schedule with class times, permission forms and invoices will be emailed this week. There is also a brief, mandatory, survey for parents to complete. The information from the survey gives the instructors/Aquatic Centre some ideas of water confidence and ability grouping.

Prep 2026 Orientation Sessions

Each Thursday, Week 3, 4, 5 and 6 - the Prep team will host Prep 2026 students and families for their Prep Orientation Sessions. The Eumundi team run these sessions each year to give Kindy children further experience building their familiarity with Eumundi Prep and positive transition to school experience.

2026 Prep Classes

Organisation is underway with staff to develop 2026 class lists. If you have a Prep 2026 student, we would really appreciate your completed enrolment package - or notify our admin@eumundiss.eq.edu.au of intention to enrol for Prep 2026. 

Parents in all year levels will be emailed class teacher names the week before school starts in 2026. If you have any specific requests you would like us to consider, please email admin@eumundiss.eq.edu.au .
