Eumundi State School Anzac Day Service

On Thursday 24 April we will be having our school ANZAC Day service at the Eumundi Town Square from 9:30 to 10:15am approximately - parents/caregivers are also welcome to attend. Other details are as follows:

• During the service, 2 representatives from each class will come forward and lay a bouquet at a memorial to remember the men, women and children who have died during wars. All students are therefore asked to bring in some flowers and/or greenery on Thursday 24 April, before school, so that class bouquets can be made by 9:00am.

It would also be appreciated if some parents could assist in making the bouquets (please see your child’s teacher if you are able to help).

• All children are to be in full school uniform (Year 6 shirts are not to be worn).
• Consent forms have been emailed to all families and available on QParents - DUE FRIDAY 04 April.

Eumundi Community Anzac Day Service - Friday 25 April

Eumundi State School students and parents have been invited to participate at the Eumundi Community Anzac Day Service. Specific details are as follows:

When:  Friday 25 April 2025.

Time:  We request that everyone arrives by 7:30am.

Where:  Meet at the ‘Welcome to Eumundi Markets’ sign - near the Rural Fire Brigade.

The children will then march through the terraces to the Amphitheatre area.

Dress:  Students interested in participating are required to wear full school uniform, including a broad brimmed hat. Children are welcome to wear family medals.

It would be great to see as many Eumundi families and their children involved to show our respect and support for the Anzacs.
